Museum Grade 10 Rupees Sikka Usmani Banknote, issued by Princely State of Hyderabad under Ruling Authority Mir Osman Ali Khan 1911-1948. Years 1938-1939, Type: Standard circulation banknotes, Currency: Rupee 1762-1950. This is one of the first banknotes of the state, issued under Hyderabad Currency Act due to silver shortage in WW1. Printed by Waterlow and Sons with beautiful designs and Persian texts, dated in 'Fasil' era with Persian month names. Osmania Sicca notes were designated currency of Nizam's Hyderabad. Extremely rare old notes India from Hali Sicca period. Vintage heritage collectible.
